I have to agree with another reviewer that the story was disjointed, significant events occurring with very little explanation, particularly Holly's actions. One thing that is never addressed *SPOILER* is Nathan. He's a jerk: he cheats on his fiancee, lies about her to his parents, punches out her father and then dumps her. But he's still golden. Makes no sense. Maybe the books need to be a little longer to connect and tie things together and explain things. I did enjoy seeing Jace come into his own as the foreman. One thing I liked was how Holly said she never could feel God answering her prayers. She was waiting for something obvious and direct and God rarely speaks to us like that. She finally understood that He did answer her prayers if she would just be open to it.

As a fan of Liz Isaacson's books, I wasn't disappointed! A clean romance with some drama. Kept me up reading late into the night to see what happened next! I liked the H who is committed to doing things right after he's given a second chance on life. h was a little frustrating. And I didn't understand H's identical twin brother Nathan who cheated on his fiance, punched fiance's father in the face (requiring treatment @ emergency room), and returns for a hea ending. Would have loved if the book was a bit longer; perhaps it could have explained Nathan more. I enjoyed seeing Jace take on the foreman role. Since Nathan & his family will be returning to Gold Valley soon, perhaps we'll find out more!?! Overall, a good book!

When Holly's engagement ended a short time before the wedding, she was devastated and angry. Nathan had lost her trust and that caused her to lose trust in everyone, including God. Caleb is Nathan's twin brother, identical in physical looks only. When Holly sees Caleb in town after moving back, she assumes he's Nathan. Can Caleb and Holly get along as she's now the vet at the ranch? Will Holly see the difference in Caleb from Nathan? This is a story of forgiveness, of changing a bad lifestyle and of trusting again. I've loved this series!

This wasn't my favorite in the Gold Valley series. There were some unanswered questions and the first time Holly sees Caleb, she mistakes him for his twin. When she meets him the second time, she lies and tells Caleb she knew it was him all along. ??? Why the lie? I liked the characters and the writing was fantastic (of course, with Liz's writing you wouldn't expect it to be otherwise).

I loved this book. The characters were great, and easy to love as well. I especially enjoyed reading about the challenges that faced them and how they grew. They were realistic. People do not always know what to do, and they keep moving forward with faith even when unsure until it works out somehow in the Lord's time.

This is a beautiful story about hurts, heartaches, secrets, love, and forgiveness. Caleb and Holly have had to face the past in order to make a future. Learning the truth about Nathan, Caleb's twin brother, is difficult for everyone by this dealt with. The characters realize they were placing this life wants ahead of what God wants, just like we do.

This was a sweet story reflecting how often we let other people's thoughts of us make us doubt our self worth instead of remembering we are a child of God and He loves each and everyone of His children so we know His love is the love we need. Liz wrote a beautiful story that proves this. I have read most of her books and have enjoyed each one. Thanks Liz!

Another good read for Liz Isaacson. You will enjoy the connection between these two people. Holland been hired to be the Vet at the ranch. There is a lot of real friction between Hollys dad and Caleb when they masterclass of his twin Nathan. CALEB is nothing like his brother.
